A new made-in-Hamilton initiative is hoping to make it easier for local employers to connect with local job seekers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A new made-in-Hamilton initiative is hoping to make it easier for local employers to connect with local job seekers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Who’s hiring in Hamilton during COVID-19 platform was launched by Workforce Planning Hamilton with the support of the City’s Economic Development Department.

“During these unprecedented times there is a desire for real-time information on job opportunities across many sectors in our city,” a press release says.

The job board will be organized by business sectors to make the search for a job in the community that much easier for people looking for local means of employment.

Workforce Planning Hamilton, a local community planning organization that specializes in workforce development, is responsible for administering the job board.

“This job board will be available during the COVID-19 pandemic and will be active based on business needs,” the release says.

“We ask that you please visit the site, submit your hiring opportunities and please share with your networks.”
