‘I was white as a ghost’: Hamilton steelworker wins top prize with OLG Crossword game

A 36-year-old Hamilton man won the top prize on his Instant Crossword Extreme ticket from OLG.
Brennon Toohey has himself an extra $350,000 heading into the holidays.
“I went to the store to verify and I was white as a ghost,” said the steelworker and father of two. “I scanned it so many times. It was hard to believe.”

Brennon told staff at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto that he plans to pay some bills with his win.
“And we’ll make a trip to Costco!” he smiled. “This is surreal.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Laly’s Smoke Shop on Fennell Ave in Hamilton.
