HPS officer tests positive for COVID-19

An officer with the Hamilton Police Service (HPS) has tested positive for COVID-19.

On Monday (January 18), management was notified that an officer working at Mountain Station has tested positive for the virus.

The last shift the officer worked was on January 12.

All close contacts have been notified, and HPS is currently working with Public Health on contact tracing.
