Environment Canada says very hot weather is expected for the weekend and possibly into Monday.
Daytime temperatures of 29 to 33 degrees (with a humidex 36 to 39) are expected.

Nights are expected to stay warm as well.
The risks of heat are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
Residents are reminded to never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
Environment Canada also says that a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Hamilton.
“Conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and torrential rain,” Environment Canada says.
The weather agency says up to 75 mm of rain is possible, as well as isolated bouts of nickel-sized hail. Wind gusts of up to 90 km/h are possible, as are isolated funnel clouds.
“The type of funnel clouds possible are generated by weak rotation under rapidly growing clouds or weak thunderstorms. This weak rotation is normally not a danger near the ground. However, there is a chance that this rotation could intensify and become a weak landspout tornado,” Environment Canada says.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.
The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management recommends that residents ake cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
