A Hamilton woman is celebrating a pretty big windfall after winning $100,000 in the lottery.
A Hamilton woman is celebrating a pretty big windfall after winning $100,000 in the lottery.
According to OLG, saying ‘yes’ to Encore paid off for Hamilton resident Joyce Volpato.
Volpato matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in the exact order in the October 3 Pick 3 draw to win $100,000.
She also won $2 on another one of her ENCORE selections, bringing her total winnings to $100,002.
OLG is now accepting in-person prize claims by appointment only for customers with prizes of $1,000 or more who wish to claim at the OLG Prize Centre.
