An employee with the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to a news release from the City, a bus operator for HSR has contracted the virus.

The employee notified the City of the positive results over the weekend. The employee, and anyone they may have come into contact with, is currently self-isolating.

The last route the employee worked before testing positive for the virus was the Route #5 Delaware on September 8 and 9.

Public Health believes there’s a low risk to the public, but the City has elected to notify the public out of an abundance of caution.
