Hamilton resident facing charges after four-vehicle highway crash

A resident from Stoney Creek has been charged following a multi-vehicle collision in Burlington.

A resident from Stoney Creek has been charged following a multi-vehicle collision in Burlington.

Around 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, Ontario Provincial Police say a driver was travelling the wrong way on the QEW Toronto-bound between Brant Street and Guelph Line.

A four-vehicle collision resulted, with three people taken to hospital for minor injuries.

35 year old Augustina Whittaker was charged by police with impaired driving and dangerous driving.

It’s unclear whether Whittaker was injured in the crash.
