Hamilton Police say they will be launching an enforcement program over the weekend that will crackdown on speeding and aggressive drivers.

A press release says they will be focusing their attention on aggressive driving and speeding from November 8 to November 11, 2019.

The November enforcement program, the release said, incorporates high visibility of traffic enforcement in various areas of the city with strategic objectives towards public awareness and education is combined with the act of a professional traffic stop.

Resources will be directed towards identified areas of concern throughout the city for the purpose of reducing or eliminating collisions and encouraging compliance with the basic rules of the road.

This enforcement program will be viewed as part of the overall approach to traffic safety which supports the Hamilton Strategic Traffic Programs.

Violators who engage in high-risk driving behaviours threaten the safety of all motorists. Hamilton Police are asking you to drive safely.
