Hamilton Police seize more than $300K in drugs, weapons, cash from two homes

Hamilton Police have seized more than $300,000 worth of drugs, cash and weapons after executing search warrants two city residences and a car late last month.

According to a press release issued Thursday (May 13), the Hamilton Police Vice and Drugs Unit conducted the searches on Friday, April 30, 2021.

During the investigation, police said they seized a Sig Sauer .380 handgun, ammunition, a large conductive energy weapon, illicit drugs with a street value of approximately $293,575 and over $10,000 in cash.

A man and a woman from Hamilton were arrested and the pair face a slew of charges.

Matthew Kulwartian, 27, of Hamilton, and Brittany Schilte, also 27, of Hamilton are facing the following charges:

  • CC117.01(1)- Possession Contrary to Order x2
