Hamilton Police seek help in identifying suspect in 2020 break and enter

Hamilton Police have released images of a man they say was involved in a break and enter at a local business in 2020 who they are seeking to identify.

The incident in question took place on Monday, August 24, 2020, shortly after midnight when an unknown suspect attended 1835 Burlington Street where The State Group Inc, a multi-trade contractor, is housed.

Police say the suspect was driving a stolen vehicle. He then left the property in the stolen car but returned several times throughout the night.

At approximately 6:00 a.m., police say the suspect returned with two more unknown suspects and the trio then loaded electrical wire in the stolen vehicle.

The suspects then stole a State Group vehicle and fled the scene.

Investigators from the BEAR Unit are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying the first suspect on the scene who is described as:

  • Male
  • White
  • Medium build
  • Dark facial hair under bottom lip
  • Light blue jeans
  • Grey long sleeve shirt
  • Orange T-shirt
  • Black baseball hat
  • Black and yellow running shoes
