Hamilton police are investigating after two retail employees making their end-of-day cash deposits were robbed at gunpoint.

On Wednesday night, just before 9:30 p.m., police say two people depositing cash at a bank depository neat Upper Wentworth and Mohawk were approached by a man with a gun demanding they hand over the cash deposits.

Police say the victims handed over the money and the suspect then hopped in their car and took off. The employees were not injured in the incident.
The suspect remains at large and may still be in possession of the stolen vehicle, which is described as a white 2011 Honda Odyssey.
The suspect is a man, described as being 45 to 55 years of age, sporting long hair and a grey beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a green jacket and baseball hat.
