Hamilton Police on scene of shooting incident on Stoney Creek mountain

Hamilton Police are on the scene of a reported shooting incident on the Stoney Creek mountain Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 5).
Pedestrians and motorists are being asked to avoid the area around Times Square Boulevard and Upper Mount Albion Roads as officers remain on the scene.
There have been no reports of injuries, according to a police Tweet.
UPDATE: A continued police presence is expected in the area as we process the scene. There is currently no threat to public safety and police have not received any reports of injured persons. Investigators believe this was a targeted incident. #HamOnt https://t.co/c1tGHPTzxa
