Hamilton Police member tests positive for COVID-19

Hamilton Police are notifying the public after they were made aware of a recent case of COVID-19 at one of their stations.

Police reported this afternoon that a civilian member working at Central Station tested positive for the virus.

The employee’s last day of work was Tuesday, December 22.

Police say they’re currently working with Public Health on contact tracing.

All of the civilian member’s close contacts have been notified at this time.
