The Hamilton Police Service (HPS) issued an arrest warrant for a 29-year-old Hamilton man Tuesday (Dec. 15).

Angelo Miller is accused of assaulting a female with a weapon while holding her against her will. Police say he is considered armed and dangerous.

The incident occurred between Saturday and Sunday (Dec. 13), according to police.

“Based on the details obtained and evidence collected, police formed reasonable grounds to believe that Angelo Miller held a victim against her will and assaulted her with a weapon,” said HPS. “Investigators believe this was a targeted attack.”

While the injuries sustained by the victim are considered to be serious, they are not considered to be life-threatening.

A search warrant was executed Monday at the unit belonging to Angelo Miller, located at 825 Concession St. in Hamilton.

Police added that they are aware of two other recent incidents that occurred in the same area but did not directly say Miller was involved.

He is described as a 6-foot tall, white male, weighing 163-pounds.

Miller is wanted for:

  • Assault with a weapon X 4
  • Forcible Confinement
  • Uttering threat to cause death
  • Fail to comply Probation X 2

Anyone with information regarding the investigation is asked to contact Hamilton Police.
