Hamilton Police clock mom with child in car going more than double speed limit in residential area

Hamilton Police are warning residents to slow down after a woman with her four-year-old child in the car was pulled over travelling 85 km/h in 40 km/h zone on the East Mountain recently.
According to a police Tweet, the woman was pulled over in the area of Upper Ottawa and Edgewood Avenue on Wednesday afternoon (Jan. 13).
Police say the woman was fined $335 for the offence and are warning drivers to watch their speed.
“Traffic safety is everyone’s responsibility,” the Tweet said.
