Hamilton Police are warning motorists to watch their speed after a driver was clocked doing 127 km/h in a 50km/h zone in the city.
In a Tweet shared Friday (Dec. 11), police said that a driver from St. George has had their car and driver’s licence seized following the incident in an undisclosed location in Hamilton.
“We really have no words other than #reckless,” the Tweet said. “Driving is a privilege. Please make wise choices.”
Earlier this month, Hamilton Police launched a traffic initiative called ‘Project Sleigh-Down,’ aimed at cracking down on speeding, stunt driving and other traffic violations in the City throughout the month of December.
“Christmas is around the corner. Please slow down,” the Tweet reminds motorists.
