Hamilton Police announced Friday (Dec. 20) that they have charged four men alleged to have been in possession of child pornography.

Police say received information from outside sources about four individuals being in possession of child pornography. Police conducted an investigation and arrested three men from Hamilton and one from Brantford.

The Hamilton Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit continues to relentlessly pursue offenders, who are involved in child exploitation offences online, a press release says.

From November 25 to December 19, 2019, police conducted four unrelated investigations based on outside information that the men may be in possession of child pornography.

After executing search warrants police arrested and charged 49-year-old Brantford resident Lee Ronald Doolittle, Zackary Joseph McKellar, 24, of Hamilton, Gregory Paul Thompson, 57, also of Hamilton and 43-year-old Sami Warda Oshana of Hamilton.

All of the accused face possession of child pornography charges and Oshana is facing two charges of distribution of child pornography.

The Hamilton Police Service is a member of the Ontario Provincial Strategy to Combat Internet Child Exploitation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact any member of the ICE unit by calling 905-540-5247.
