Hamilton Police ask for help in identifying East Hamilton robbery suspect

Hamilton Police are looking to identify a suspect wanted in connection to a commercial store robbery near Centre Mall earlier this month.

On Wednesday (April 28), police released the image of a man they say entered a fast-food restaurant near the East Hamilton commercial plaza on April 18 at around 6:30 p.m. and robbed it.

No one was injured during the robbery and the suspect was last seen fleeing along Barton Street East on foot.

Investigators from the BEAR Unit are investigating and are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, white
  • 5’9 – 5’10
  • Heavyset, 220–230Ibs
  • Thinning short hair
  • Brown eyes
  • White face mask with a blue/grey outline
  • Black jacket
  • Black pants
  • Backpack (grey/black)
  • Grey gloves
