Hamilton mountain power outage affecting thousands of homes and businesses

A power outage on Hamilton mountain is affecting more than 2,000 homes and businesses Monday morning (June 28).
Alectra Utilities is reporting that approximately 2,305 customers in the area of Upper James to Upper Gage and the Sherman Access to Limeridge Road are without power.
The cause of the outage is under investigation, the utility provider said, and crews have been dispatched to make repairs.
Power is expected to be restored by 10 a.m.
