Hamilton man wins $25,000 per month for life

A Hamilton man won Daily Grand from OLG.

Art Vandenhoek, 58, matched all five main numbers to win the second prize of $25,000 a year; however, OLG says he opted to take the lump sum prize of $500,000 instead of the yearly payments.

The winning ticket was purchased at Esso on Highway 6.

Art said he plans to pay some bills and purchase a small cottage with his win.

The top prize for the $3 Daily Grand is $1,000 a day for life for matching the five main numbers plus the “grand number”. Winners can also choose a $7-million lump sum.
