A Hamilton man must be feeling pretty flush after winning a Poker Lotto jackpot last week.

A Hamilton man must be feeling pretty flush after winning a Poker Lotto jackpot last week.

Reuben De Guzman, of Stoney Creek, anted up and went ‘all in’ to win the Poker Lotto All In jackpot worth $53,453 on November 29.

Guzman also won $5,000 on the instant portion of his Poker Lotto play, bringing his total winnings to $58,453.

“The store clerk informed me to wait in the store after scanning my ticket,” Reuben said while at the Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “It’s an unreal feeling!”

Guzman, 46, plans to pay off some bills, share with friends and family over the holidays and host a New Year’s Eve party.

“It feels like Christmas came early,” Guzman said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Highway 8 in Stoney Creek.
