Hamilton man charged in connection to sexual assault of PSW

A Hamilton man is suspected of sexually assaulting his in-home personal support worker (PSW).

Hamilton Police say they charged a man on Wednesday (Dec. 4) with the sexual assault in relation to an incident that took place last month

On November 28, 2019, Hamilton Police Sexual Assault Unit was notified that a woman employed as PSW had reported being sexually assaulted.

Police allege the accused solicited care from an in-home PSW who was then sexually assaulted.

As a result of the investigation, police believe there may be other victims.

Gabriel Ferreira DaSilva, a 52-year-old Hamilton resident, is charged with sexual assault and with disobeying a court order.
