Police say the suspect was threatening to commit the shooting last Friday (Oct. 16) during an online chat with another man.

Toronto police raided a Hamilton home and arrested 28-year-old Tygar Allen Campbell.

He was charged with:

“While this remains an uncorroborated threat, the Toronto Police Service continues to take the necessary steps to ensure the safety of schools and students,” said police in an official statement.

Police did not release the name of the school under the alleged threat.
