Hamilton man arrested for alleged public masturbation

Hamilton Police announced Monday (Jan. 18), the arrest of a 32-year-old Dundas man for “an indecent act” after a series of reports in the Dundas area.

The man is accused of masturbating in a laneway behind a downtown business on Jan. 16, in the area of King St. W and Millers Lane. He will appear in court for a bail hearing on Jan. 19.

Meanwhile, on Jan. 15, police say they received a report of a separate indecent act near York and McKay Rd at around 9:20 p.m. A female driver witnessed a male in a trench coat allegedly expose himself.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-2 white male in his 50s. He reportedly has a medium build and weighs approximately 220-pounds.

Hamilton Police say they are continuing to investigate if the two incidents are related.
