Four suspects sought following armed home invasion in Hamilton

Police are requesting the public’s help as they investigate a recent home invasion and robbery in Hamilton.

Police are requesting the public’s help as they investigate a recent home invasion and robbery in Hamilton.

Shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, officers responded to a home invasion in the area of Upper Sherman Avenue and Concession Street in the central mountain area.

It’s believed that four suspects, two with firearms, forced their way into the residence.

“The suspects assaulted two occupants and then fled the area with an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency,” police say. “They were last seen travelling southbound on Upper Sherman in a four-door sedan.”

The victims sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

The four suspects are described as follows:

  • Male, black, with a moustache, heavy build, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a black coat, blue gloves, black pants, and white shoes.
  • Male, black, wearing black shoes, blue shoelaces, black pants, blue coat, and black gloves.
  • Male, black, wearing black Adidas sweatpants with three white stripes on the side, a black Canada Goose jacket, and black gloves.
  • Male, black, wearing a black sweater with skeleton outline, black skeleton mask, grey Adidas pants with three black stripes down the sides, and black gloves.

“Police believe this was a targeted incident with the focus being money,” police say.

Hamilton Police will be in the area today conducting a canvass, and are asking residents to check their surveillance cameras for any suspicious activity.

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached. If any of the suspects are seen, call 911 immediately.
