Two Hamilton companies cracked the top 100 of Canadian Business’s 31st annual list of Canada’s 500 fastest-growing companies.
Two Hamilton companies cracked the top 100 of Canadian Business’s 31st annual list of Canada’s 500 fastest-growing companies.
Everworks, an information technology firm, and NLS Egineering, a professional services firm, sit at 59 and 76 respectively on the 2019 Growth 500: The Complete Ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies list from Canadian Business.
The list, released last week, is ranked according to a company’s revenue growth over the last five years.
Everworks, founded in 2003, “specializes in developing custom manufacturing automated solutions for companies to increase productivity, profits, and competitiveness,” the company’s website says.

They currently have more than 50 employees and their five-year growth rate is measured at 1493 per cent. Their offices are located in downtown Hamilton.
NLS Engineering, founded in 2011, “is an established professional engineering services firm specializing in Energy, Water & Process Control,” their website says.
Their five-year growth rate is measured at 1267 per cent, and they have 35 employees. Their offices are located in Stoney Creek.
The winners of annual Growth 500 ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies are considered the most ambitious, innovative and successful businesses in Canada. Within these parameters, it’s easy to see why Hamilton companies make regular appearances on the list.
Hamilton’s Fairway Electrical Services also made the list, sitting at 338 and Orbis Communications sits at 344. Worksite Safety Compliance Centre also just made the list at 446.
