Well here’s one band who doesn’t seem to be deterred by the FirstOntario Centre’s ‘10,000 asses stink.”

It was announced Monday (Jan. 13) that Pearl Jam will be blowing through town in the coming months.

Pearl Jam will be playing the FirstOntario Centre on March 24.

Other Canadian dates include:

  • March 18th – Toronto, ON @ Scotiabank Arena
  • March 20th – Ottawa, ON @ Canadian Tire Centre
  • March 22nd – Quebec City, QC @ Videotron Centre

This news comes after Pearl Jam announced that they will release their 11th album, Gigaton, on March 27th.

This will be their first album of new material since 2013’s Lightning Bolt.

“Making this record was a long journey,” explains Mike McCready on the band’s website.

“It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption. Collaborating with my bandmates on Gigaton ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.”

The first single from the long-anticipated album is expected to drop in the coming weeks.

Tickets for this concert are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Pearl Jam has asked Ticketmaster to ensure their fans have access to tickets at face value. To achieve this, Pearl Jam has directed that tickets be non-transferable.

On the night of the show, all guests will be required to enter with the ticket purchaser.

For fans that cannot use the tickets they have purchased, Pearl Jam and Ticketmaster will offer a Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange beginning February 18.
