Downtown Hamilton street closed for police investigation into ‘wanted party’

There is a heavy police presence in downtown Hamilton Thursday (Dec. 24) morning as an investigation into a ‘wanted party’ is underway.

Hamilton Police do not provide specifics on the active investigation happening at a residence in the area of Wentworth Street and Aikman Avenue.

They do say, however, that there is no threat to public safety but Wentworth, between Aikman and Main Street will remain closed until they’ve wrapped up.
