Construction to close portion of Sherman Access next week

A portion of Hamilton’s Sherman Access will be close for a few days next week for construction.

“To safely complete slope and drainage improvements, the City of Hamilton will reduce the West Leg of the Sherman Access to one lane between the Sherman Cut and Charlton Ave E beginning on Monday, October 5, 2020,” a release from the City says.
The restrictions are expected to remain in place until next Friday, weather permitting.
Motorists moving up and down the escarpment access will be flagged through the work zone during this time, so delays are to be expected for the duration of the project.
