Coming soon: A new ice cream parlour is opening soon in East Hamilton

Just when you thought Ottawa Street couldn’t get any cooler, this new business will soon be serving up some of the coolest treats in the neighbourhood.
The Parlour will be opening soon to the public to serve up ice cream, milkshakes, hot dogs, poutine and much more, at 224 Ottawa Street North (right beside Limoncello, across from the Antique Mall).
It appears on The Parlour’s Instagram page that there are also plans in the works for a second location at 581 Concession St. (where Medina Fine Foods was previously located).
While a specific date for opening has not been disclosed, preparations have been well underway for the bright pink Ottawa Street shop to start welcoming customers soon.
Hamilton’s newest ice cream parlour is the work of The Social Event Group (SEG), the same local, family-run collective that brought us some of the city’s most sought after culinary experiences, including The Dirty South, The Salted Pig and Kreative Katering food trucks, among others.

Given the success of and community support for SEG’s wildly popular endeavours, The Parlour is sure to become a crowd-pleaser in the years to come and another lovely destination on Ottawa Street (and Concession) for one to indulge in top-notch culinary delights.
