The following is a summary of COVID-19 outbreaks declared by public health at long-term care facilities during the week of January 11 to 17.

New outbreaks were declared at the following facilities over the past week:


Hamilton:

  • Alexander Place Long-Term Care Home at 329 Parkside Dr, Waterdown – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on January 13.
  • Westmount Terrace Retirement Home at 723 Rymal Rd W, Hamilton – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on January 16.

Halton Region:

  • The Williamsburg at 1893 Appleby Line, Burlington – 7 cases (unspecified). Outbreak declared on January 13.

Peel Region:

  • Tall Pines at 1001 Peter Robertson Blvd, Brampton – 3 cases (1 resident, 2 staff). Outbreak declared on January 12.
  • Ivan Franko Retirement Home at 3058 Winston Churchill Blvd, Mississauga – 1 case (resident). Outbreak declared on January 12.
  • Malton Village at 7075 Rexwood Rd, Mississauga – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on January 13.
  • Chartwell Regency Retirement Residence at 29 Mississauga Rd N, Mississauga – 1 case (staff). Outbreak declared on January 14.
  • Camilla Care Community at 2250 Hurontario St, Mississauga – 2 cases (staff). Outbreak declared on January 14.
