WANTED: Suspect Accused of Ramming into Police Cruisers in Oakville

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man wanted into connection with numerous offences in Oakville and Halton police are asking the public to help find him.

The incident unfolded at the Oakville Place parking lot on Oct. 1.
Police say they found man asleep in a gold Ford 500 with stolen licence plates.
Once the man woke up, he immediately started the car and reversed, intentionally hitting a marked police vehicle.

The man fled – but not before deliberately hitting a second police cruiser.
One officer has minor injuries following the incident.
The suspect bolted for the highway, leading Halton and provincial police on a chase along the QEW until they called it off due to public safety.
Brent Zoschke is wanted for possession of property obtained by crime, two counts of failing to remain at the scene of a collision, assault with a weapon, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, drive while disqualified, and flight from police.
A Hamilton man by the same name was arrested in 2012 in relation to a coin machine theft and again in 2015 for ramming a police cruiser and trying to run down an officer — he was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failing to stop for police; assault with a weapon, possession of cocaine, and possession of heroin, among other offences.
If you see the suspect, you’re asked not to approach him.
