Two Suspects Facing Charges in Relation to Massive Drug Trafficking Incident

According to police, on May 13, 2019, Halton officers were conducting proactive patrols in the area of Cross Avenue and Trafalgar Road in Oakville.

According to police, on May 13, 2019, Halton officers were conducting proactive patrols in the area of Cross Avenue and Trafalgar Road in Oakville.

They conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, and developed grounds to believe the two occupants were in possession of a controlled substance. 

The driver and the passenger were both placed under arrest. 

According to police, a subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, and cannabis.

As a result, the suspects are facing the following alleged charges.

Courtney Jeshuron (27) of Mississauga was charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (6 counts)
  • Trafficking a controlled substance
  • Possession of a controlled substance

Rennay Harris (26) of Brampton was charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking (3 counts)
  • Trafficking a controlled substance

Both the accused were held in custody pending bail hearings.

Later, on May 14, 2019, the Halton Police executed a search warrant at Jeshuron’s residence in Mississauga. Officers located additional crack cocaine and oxycodone.

In total, the Halton Regional Police Service seized (approximately):

  • ·Fentanyl (11 grams)
  • ·Cocaine (8 grams)
  • ·Crack cocaine (2.8 ounces)
  • ·Oxycodone (4 tablets)
  • ·Cannabis (42 grams)

The estimated street value of the controlled substances seized is $6,000.
