Halton police’s Milton/Halton Hills division recently stopped a driver going over the double speed limit.
On Friday night (February 5), police say a G2 driver was caught going 182 km/h in a 70 km/h zone — with cannabis readily available to the driver as well.
“That’s 112 km/h OVER the posted speed limit! Tragedy potentially prevented,” police said.
The driver was charged, had their vehicle impounded, and was given a court date.
