With spring finally here and summer just on the horizon, you can at last plan all the events and activities in Halton that you’re going to partake in during the warmer seasons. And if you’re someone who frequents parks when the snow finally melts away, you may be excited to learn that three parks in Milton are being redeveloped.
According to a recent press release from the town, Centre Park (798 Graham Bell Court), Court Park (558 Brock Court), and Moffat Park (1250 No. 15 Sideroad) are being redeveloped.
There are no confirmed plans yet regarding what the redevelopments will consist of. However, it was noted on the Let’s Talk Milton website that some of these redevelopments could include adding play areas, walkways with lighting, drainage improvements, and more.
The town is encouraging residents to share their thoughts surrounding these redevelopments. Residents can do so by participating in the public engagement opportunity – three different surveys – which is available until April 26.

Feedback and comments for all three parks is encouraged. Once the public engagement surveys close, proposed design concepts will be created.
“The proposed park design concepts will be developed based on public input provided during this phase,” reads the release. “These concept plans will be shared with the community for further review and comment in late May.”

Redevelopments are expected to take place in 2020. So, although residents may not be able to enjoy the new additions potentially coming to these parks soon, the improvements are definitely something to look forward to.
