Halton Regional Police are investigating an attempted early morning break-in at an Oakville home by several suspects.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, police say the resident of a Robert Brown Boulevard home was awoken by the sounds of someone trying to open their front door.

The home owner reportedly saw five or six suspects when he got up and looked out the window. The suspects fled when the home owner turned on an outside light.

Police say that nothing was stolen. No descriptions of the suspects are available.
