‘Stunt driver’ busted in Oakville to have truck impounded, licence suspended: Police

The traffic unit of the Halton Regional Police Service in Oakville said they stopped a driver travelling close to 70 km/hr over the speed limit on Wednesday (July 8).
The traffic unit of the Halton Regional Police Service in Oakville said they stopped a driver travelling close to 70 km/hr over the speed limit on Wednesday (July 8).
Police say a G2 driver was stopped after being clock travelling 167 km/hr in a 100 km/hr zone.
The driver’s truck has been seized and is impounded for seven days and the driver’s licence has been suspended.
The driver is also scheduled to appear in court to answer to charges of stunt driving.
