Milton residents are being warned of a scam — this time, involving a door-to-door interaction.

Milton residents are being warned of a scam — this time, involving a door-to-door interaction.

Officials say they’ve been advised of a door-to-door fraud where someone posing as a Town employee asks to inspect water/gas pipes.

Keep in mind, Town of Milton employees can be identified with a uniform, ID badge and marked vehicles.

Anyone who suspects a door-to-door scam is asked to alert Halton Regional Police at 905-878-5511.
