Burlington residents and visitors may want to be aware of this road closure.
According to the city’s website, Elgin Street will be closed today, Dec. 5, and again on Tuesday, Dec. 11, between Locust Street and Blathwayte Lane as a result of construction activity.
The road closure today will be in effect until 5 p.m.
On Dec.11 the closure will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Local traffic, according to the city’s website, will be detoured along Locust Street to Ontario Street and Blathwayte Lane.
