Oakville residents interested in swimming in the town’s outdoor pools must now pre-book their swim times in advance.

Bookings can be made online on Active Oakville, where spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis due to capacity restrictions.

Admission fees must also be pre-paid online. There will be no in-person drop-ins, cash payments and complimentary passes accepted at this time.

The fee for youth and seniors (65+) is $4.07 and the fee is $5.09 for adults (18+).

The town is also offering special one-month rates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Residents are reminded that Express Pass holders are not required to register the support worker attending public swims with them as their contact details will be taken upon arrival to the pool.

Additionally, scanning membership cards are not required at this time.

Residents are reminded that only pre-registered residents will be admitted to the pools.
