Two vehicles were stolen from Milton driveways on Thursday morning, say Halton police, who are reminding residents about warm-up thefts.

Two vehicles were stolen from Milton driveways on Thursday morning, say Halton police, who are reminding residents about warm-up thefts.

Both incidents involved vehicles left unattended and unlocked.

The thefts took place between 8:20 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

It takes less than a minute for a thief to steal a vehicle when it’s left unattended.

If you’re warming up your car, lock the doors or install a remote starter, advise police.
