Halton Police are investigating a car fire that occurred in the City of Burlington.

According to police, on Jan. 3 at 5:13 p.m., the Halton Regional Police Service was dispatched to 491 Pearl St. for a report of a vehicle on fire at the Lions Club parking lot. 

After the fire was extinguished, a police investigation determined the vehicle was stolen. 

Police are now asking any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time and who have not already spoken with police, to contact the Burlington Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4747 ext. 2316.
