Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Milton Cell Phone Store

Halton Police are still investigating an armed robbery that occured at a cell phone store in the Town of Milton.

Halton Police are still investigating an armed robbery that occured at a cell phone store in the Town of Milton.

The robbery, police say, took place this past weekend on Jan. 26 at around 4:50 p.m. at the Freedom Mobile located at 500 Laurier Ave.

According to police, three males allegedly entered the store with knives and possibly a firearm. 

The males demanded cell phones from the two employees in the store.

No one was injured during the robbery. 

The three male suspects left the store and were last seen running north in the plaza towards the intersection of Laurier Avenue and Ontario Street. 

A silver/grey sedan was seen in the area at this time acting suspiciously. 

The first suspect is described as a black male who was wearing a black coat with fur around the hood, black pants, black shoes and was carrying a red knapsack.

The second suspect is also described as a black male, who was wearing a black Nike hoodie with a white shirt underneath, black pants, black shoes and was carrying a black knapsack.

The third suspect is described as a black male. Police say this suspect was wearing a dark green hoodie with a white full length zipper up the front, black pants, and black shoes.

During the robbery the suspects were wearing masks. 

However, the suspects removed the masks as they ran from the store. 

Police are asking anyone who observed anything suspicious in the area at the time or anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Detective Derek Moyes of the 1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905-825-4747 ext. 2416.
