Police charge truck driver for heavy load in Milton

An inspection of a dump truck on a Milton Rd. has led to charges against the driver.

Halton Regional Police say the vehicle was pulled over yesterday evening after officers noticed the truck was too heavy to be on this particular road.
Upon further inspection defects in the truck were found including a damaged tire, overweight on drive axels, overweight on RGW (registered gross weight) and overweight on allowable weight.
The driver was also charged with disobeying a street 5 ton limit sign.
