Police allege the collision, which occurred on Miller Dr., might have occurred because the driver was impaired by drugs at the time of incident.

Police say the vehicle had travelled at high speed, mounted curb and collided with the home.

Earlier today (March 19), police said the male driver was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening.

“Thankfully there were no school children out at the time,” Halton police said on Twitter.
