Ontario is reporting 3,128 new cases of COVID-19 today (Jan. 5), 121 of which have been reported in Halton.
Today (Jan. 5), Burlington has recorded 42 new cases while Oakville has 28.
Milton has recorded 39 new cases while Halton Hills has 12.
A total of 5,604 cases have been resolved in the Halton Region and 123 people have passed away.
There are currently 757 active cases in the region.
