Ontario is reporting 1,631 new cases of COVID-19 today (Mar. 8), 34 of which have been reported in Halton.

Today (Mar. 8), Burlington has recorded 6 new cases while Oakville has 6.

Milton has recorded 16 new cases while Halton Hills has 6.

A total of 9,308 cases have been resolved in the Halton Region and 198 people have passed away.

There are currently 274 active cases in the region.

According to regional data, there are 21 confirmed variant cases of concern in Halton.
