Today (June 29), Ontario is reporting 299 new cases of COVID-19, 5 of which have been reported in Halton.

A total of 17,970 cases have been resolved in the region and 229 people have passed away.

There are currently 48 active cases in the region.

According to regional data, there have been 5,940 total variant cases in Halton.

Over 500,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the region.

A total of 28,306 COVID-19 tests have been completed in Ontario in the last 24 hours.
