The Town of Oakville’s Civitan Farmers’ Market, which is celebrating its 36th anniversary this year, is now open for the season.

The town’s longest-running farmers’ market is organized by the Civitan Club of Oakville, an organization that helps support local charities, students and other local groups focused on helping others in need.

It will be located at Dorval Crossing East and will operate every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from now until November 28, 2021.

Now, more than ever, Halton residents are encouraged to buy local and support small businesses amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Additionally, for those who are interested in giving back to the community, Civitan is always looking for new volunteer members.
