Oakville Man Facing Child Porn, Sex Assault Charges

A 33-year-old Oakville man is facing nearly a dozen charges in connection with an Internet child exploitation case in Halton Region.
A 33-year-old Oakville man is facing nearly a dozen charges in connection with an Internet child exploitation case in Halton Region.
The offences allegedly took place in Oakville and Hamilton between June 2017 and January 2018.
The suspect was arrested on Jan. 30.
He’s now facing child pornography and sexual assault-related offences.

Tyler Leach is charged with two counts of possession of child pornography; one count of distribution of child pornography; four counts of making child pornography; two counts of sexual assault; two counts of sexual interference.
He was held for bail and remanded in custody with a scheduled appearance in Milton court on Feb. 2.
These investigations have been funded and made possible through a grant from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, say Halton police.
